Where do you deliver?

Is Taste It food Organic?

Yes, it is very important that Cancer patients are feed organic produce which is not sprayed by carcinogenic fungicides, herbicides pesticides and grown in good clean soil, full of cancer fighting phytochemicals. Our suppliers are accredited organic growers.

What is the ordering and delivery times ?

For initial orders the cut off time is 10pm Tuesday. The cancer fighting food box will be delivered the following Thursday for Dinner that is 9 days from ordering to receiving your first box, there after you will receive your box every week to start for Thursday dinner. Note: the weekly cancer fighting food box ends Wednesday lunch. 

What comes with each delivery?

The taste it food boxes comes with all the raw ingredients you need to cook delicious meals for the week. Each recipe is designed to be a well-balanced, healthy meal that includes protein, veggies and carbs. In addition, each delivery comes with beautifully printed recipe cards, step by step cooking instructions and information of the cancer-fighting properties of each ingredient.

How long will my food stay fresh for?

Our meals are designed to stay fresh for a full week following the delivery of your box (be sure to check the best before dates on your chicken/meats  you may need to freeze them if you don't plan on cooking them in the first few days following your delivery). We recommend cooking your chicken/meat first to make sure you enjoy it at its peak freshness.

I have a food allergy, food aversion and/or concerns of taste it ingredient having an effect on my medication. Should I order from Taste it ?

We take great care to ensure all our ingredients is prepared safely. It is essential you contact us if you have a food allergy. Also please contact us if you have a  food aversion and concerns about our ingredients affecting your medication.  

What should I do with the Taste It packaging after I receive my order?

Nothing in your Taste It box needs to end up in the trash
1. The cardboard box, if in good order can be used again by Taste it, just leave it where we can pick it up when we deliver you next box. Otherwise, put box in your recycling bin
2. We ask if you can leave the Jars and egg cartons  for taste it pick up as we can use them again. Just leave where we can pick up when we deliver your next box
3. otherwise put box, brown paper bags and wrapping in your recycling bin

Will my food stay fresh in transit?

Absolutely! Each box is carefully packaged to stay fresh for up to 24h to 48 hours after your delivery arrives. For best results, put the contents of your box in your refrigerator as soon as you can.

What happens if I am not home at the time of delivery?

No problem! If you aren’t home, our delivery person will leave the package for you at your door. Or where it is safe, please contact us if you are not home. If your box is lost or stolen, we will offer you a full credit towards a future order.

Does my subscription auto-renew?

Yes, we will send you weekly deliveries, but there is no minimum commitment. You can skip a delivery or cancel your subscription at any time before the weekly cut-off.

When is the weekly cut-off time for cancelling or skipping a scheduled order?

Tuesdays before 10.00pm

How do I skip a week?

If you are going on vacation or don't want a delivery for any reason, you can skip a week free of charge any time you'd like. Just email or phone us. 

Is there a minimum subscription length?

There is no minimum subscription length, and you can cancel at any time before your weekly cut-off.

Is my credit card information secure?

Our payment processing is managed by Stripe one of the largest online payment processors. All credit card information is stored on their encrypted servers, which are compliant with strict security regulations. Stripe is our partner of choice to ensure the security of your payment information.

Are there ever weather related delays?

Unfortunately when the weather is bad Taste It deliveries can be delayed. In certain rare instances, some deliveries may need to be pushed a day later for the safety of our vehicles and drivers. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call us.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription by contacting the Taste it Team either by email or phone.
